Tree Hakea

Dense shrub or small tree 1-5 m tall with a smooth or light-barked trunk. Leaves flat, linear to elliptic or obovate, to about 17 cm long, 2 cm wide. Flower clusters of 6-10 flowers. Flowers white, hairy at the base; mostly spring. Fruit curved upwards towards the tip, obovoid, mostly 2-3 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, smooth but with brown warts.
