Ashy Hakea

Shrub to about 3 m tall with rusty-hairy new growth. Leaves to about 12 cm long, 2 cm wide, mostly widest above the centre, tapering to the base, blue-green with longitudinal nerves. Flower clusters towards the tips of branches; spring. Flowers greenish to pale yellow with reflexed segments. Style to 3 cm long. Fruit to 2 cm long with an extended beak, smooth to slightly warty.
