Prostrate to erect SHRUB 1m or more tall. Leaves to 18 cm long, entire or with a range of different lobe forms, mainly 3-7, lower surface hairless or with a few silky hairs. Flower clusters dense, branched or not, cylindrical, opening at the tip first. Flowers creamy yellow, hairless outside, mealy inside; late winter to early spring. Fruit rough, hairless.
