Grevillea olivacea A.S.George

Dense shrub 3-4 m tall. Leaves entire, to 6 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, elliptic to obovate with a point at the tip, margins often rolled under, lower surface silky-hairy. Flower clusters spidery, erect, dense, mostly axillary, occasionally branched. Flowers and style red, orange or yellow, hairy outside, bearded inside; winter to spring. Fruit rough.

Grows naturally in alkaline soils.
