Spreading shrub to 1 m tall. Leaves entire, linear to elliptic, to 4 cm long and 4 mm wide, margin rolled under, mostly sharp-pointed. Flower clusters short, more or less 1-sided. Flowers reddish, silky-hairy outside, bearded inside; spring and autumn. Style reddish. Fruit hairless.
