Grevillea linearifolia (A.Cav.) G.Druce

Linear-leaf Grevillea

Open, prostrate shrub to 3 m or so with 1 stem, sometimes dense and prostrate. Leaves simple, entire, margins curled under, linear to narrowly elliptic or obovate, hardly pointed. Flower clusters terminal, 1-sided, branched. Flowers hairy outside, white to pale pink and bearded inside; autumn to spring. Style white or pink. Fruit warty.

There are numerous desirable horticultural forms available.

Differs from G. leiophylla in having leaves with silky lower surface and dotted upper surface.
