Dense shrub to 3 m or so tall with long, arching branches, the flowering stems emergent from the bush. Leaves 12-35 cm long, leathery, pinnate with mostly 11-23 segments, densely white-hairy below. Flower clusters terminal, 10 to 15 cm long, 5-8 cm wide. Flowers cream, strongly fragrant. Fruit flattened, to 2.5 cm long.
