Gully Grevillea

Spreading shrub to 3 m tall or a small tree to 7 m tall. Leaves simple, entire, to about 25 cm or so long and 2-10 cm wide, ovate to elliptic, sometimes with a few simple lobes. Flower clusters 1-sided. Flowers greenish white to pale brown; Sept-Feb. Style pink to red. Fruit hairy with red-brown stripes or blotches.

G. macleayana (D.J. McGillivray) Olde & Marriot is also in cultivation and is similar but a shrub with simple or 1-lobed leaves; the lobing is not triangular. Syn. G. barklyana Benth. subsp. macleayana D.J. McGillivray.
