Spreading, densely branched shrub to small tree to about 5 m tall. Leaves entire, rarely 2-lobed, linear to obovate, to 6 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, silvery, silky-haired below, margins rolled under. Flower clusters flat-topped and usually branched. Flowers white to pale pink; late winter to spring. Fruit rough.
Not common in cultivation.
