Common Hovea

Erect or scrambling shrub to 50 cm tall. New growth grey-hairy. Leaves of 2 kinds: lower ones ovate to obovate to 2.5 cm long, 1 cm wide; upper ones linear to lanceolate, 3-6 cm long, to 4 mm wide. Flowers 1-2 together, to 1 cm long; late winter to early spring. Fruit pod 7-9 mm long, slightly hairy.
