Warminster Broom

Shrub to over 2 m tall with slender, ribbed branches. Leaves simple, 1 cm or so long, silky, soon shed. Flowers pale yellow, rather unpleasant-smelling.

A hybrid, C. purgans × C. multiflorus.

Garden origin.
