Cytisus ×kewensis Bean

A low, wide-spreading dwarf shrub to less than 30 cm tall. Leaves usually with 3 linear to oblong hairy leaflets, occasionally only 1. Flowers 1-3 together, each about 12 mm long, pale yellow to cream; spring.

A hybrid, C. ardoinii (seed parent) × C. multiflorus, raised at the Royal Bot. Gds, Kew, UK, in 1891.

Garden origin.
