Scrambling or twining shrub. Leaves entire, linear to ovate, to 9 cm long, 2 cm wide, with a pointed tip. Flowers in terminal or axillary clusters of 4-10 flowers, each about 1.5 cm long, pink, orange or red, with yellow markings; late spring to early summer. Fruit pods ovoid to ellipsoid, 1.5-2 cm long, hardly stalked.
