Shrub to 5 m tall. Leaves oblanceolate to obovate, mostly 2-4.5 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, hairless below, margin entire, tip blunt. Flowers with calyx tube hairy outside; late spring to early summer. Fruit 1-1.2 cm wide, orange to scarlet; autumn.
Taiwan. Naturalised in the Moreton District, Qld.
Leaves widest towards the tip; margins entire.
