Potentilla recta L.

Perennial herb to about 60 cm tall. Leaves palmate, with 5-7 oblong to obovate, grey, large-toothed leaflets, hairy above and below. Flowers yellow, with deeply notched petals; summer.

N Africa, Eurasia. This species has become naturalised in cooler regions of NSW, Vic and Tas.
