Potentilla fruticosa Group

Shrubby Cinquefoil

This name refers to a species complex of woody deciduous shrubs growing to about 1.5 m tall. Leaves pinnate, with 5-9 linear-lanceolate leaflets. Epicalyx lobes variable. Flowers sometimes semi-double, mostly yellow or white but several other colours represented in the cultivars.

Other listed cultivars include 'Sunset' and 'Herzblut'.

Northern temperate regions.
