Mother of Thousands

Herb to about 30 cm tall, with thin stolons. Leaves in rosettes, roundish, cordate, to about 10 cm wide, reddish below, margins with large teeth, the upper surface with silvery veins. Flowers white, in branched clusters, the 2 lower petals larger than the others; summer to autumn. Syn. s. sarmentosa l.

Popular as a pot or hanging basket plant for the variegated leaves and plantlets hanging from the stolons.
