Sedum dendroideum D C.

Branched shrub to about 60 cm tall. Leaves alternate, to about 4 cm long,1 cm wide, spoon-shaped to almost round, flat, stalkless, margin white to red and red-dotted. Flowers in branching clusters, yellow; spring to summer.

S. dendroideum has a line of sub-epidermal glands along the leaf margins which appear waxy-white, while the similar S. praealtum, which has yellow-green leaves, has no glands.

Mexico to Guatemala.
