Erect to spreading herb to 0.5 m tall. Leaves opposite, triangular-ovate, 2.5-6 cm long, 2-5 cm wide, round-toothed with 9 or 10 teeth per side, thick, green, becoming dark red in full sun, hairless. Flowers yellow.
