Rhododendron leucogigas Sleumer

Straggling shrub 1-2 m tall. Leaves mostly in whorls of 5-6 at the branch tips, mostly 20-40 cm long and 6-10 cm wide. Flowers 5-8, tubular to funnel-shaped, 7-parted, white suffused with carmine below lobes and along the tube which is about 14 cm long. Stamens 14.
