Rhododendron sinogrande Balf.f. & W.W.Sm.

Tree-like, mostly to 6 m, though much larger in habitat. Leaves up to 1 m long (largest of the group) but mostly 30-60 cm in Australia. Flowers creamy yellow with a crimson basal blotch, each with 8-10 lobes and 18-20 stamens.
