Pieris floribunda (Sims) Benth. & Hook.

Shrub to 2 m tall. Branchlets mostly downy hairy and also with bristly hairs. Leaves 4-7 cm long, elliptic to ovate, margins saw-toothed. Flowers in terminal branching clusters to 10 cm long, individual flowers white, ridged, pouched between the sepal lobes; spring. Fruit round to ovoid.
