Commemorating St Dabeoc of Ireland.

Low-growing evergreen shrubs to 50 cm tall. Stems with glandular hairs. Leaves 5-10 mm long, alternate, elliptic, silvery below. Flowers in terminal clusters. Calyx 4-parted. Corolla 4-lobed. Stamens 8; summer to autumn. Ovary superior. Fruit a woolly 4-chambered capsule.

Seeds and semi-hardwood cuttings.
