Shrub to medium tree. New growth pink. Leaves 3-7 cm long, 1-3 cm wide with 5-7 longitudinal veins, shiny above. Stalk to c. 5 mm long. Flower spikes mostly 2-4 cm long, white. Floral tube 2-3 mm long, lobes erect, hairy inside. Fruit 6-8 mm wide, deep purple. [Cyathodes laurina Rudge]
