Dog Violet

A stoloniferous perennial considered closely related to V sylvestris. Leaves heart-shaped, more or less smooth, margins round-toothed. Flowers up to 18 mm wide on long erect stems, clear blue with a blunt creamy white spur to 6 mm long; spring to summer.
