Rabbit Ears

Shrubby to 50 cm or so tall. Segments oblong, obovate or round, to 15 cm long, pale green. Glochids are often coloured, yellow to orange, white or brown. Spines 0(1), small. Flowers to 4 cm wide, yellow or yellow flushed red on the outside. Fruit to 3 cm wide, more or less spherical, purplish.
