Opuntia erinacea Engelm. & Bigelow

Low, clumping. Segments round to obovate, to about 10 cm long, blue-green. Spines 5-10 to 5 cm long, cylindrical, bent back. Flowers 4-8 cm wide, yellow. Fruit dry.
