Ferocactus glaucescens (DC.) Britton & Rose

Body solitary or clustering, spherical to cylindrical, mostly waxy blue. Ribs 10-35 or so. Spines mostly 4-6 of more or less equal length, yellow. Flowers yellow. Fruit whitish to yellowish and with yellow scales.
