Echinocereus stoloniferus var. tayopensis (W.T.Marshall) N.P.Taylor

Body clustering, cylindrical to 15 cm, 6-8 cm wide with 11-13 ribs. Areoles 5-9 mm apart with 1-3 central spines to 2.5 cm and numerous radial spines 1-1.5 cm long. Flowers bright yellow 6 cm wide.
