Echinocereus rigidissimus (Engelm.) Haage

Body solitary, cylindrical to 30 cm high, 4-9 cm wide with 16-23 ribs. Areoles elongated with 15-23 whitish, reddish or brownish pectinate (comb-like) radial spines 6-10 mm long. Flowers bright pink 6-7 cm long.
