Echinocereus papillosus Linke

Body spreading and branching to 25 cm, 2.5 cm wide with 7-9 ribs. Areoles yellowish with 1 yellowish central spine to 2 cm and 7 brownish-white radial spines to 1 cm. Flowers yellow, to 10 cm wide.
