Echinocereus nivosus Glass & R.C.Foster

Body clustering, cylindrical to 4 cm wide with 12 weak ribs. Areoles 7 mm apart with 11-12 whitish central spines 9-12(-20) mm long and 30 whitish radial spines 4-9 mm long almost obscuring the body. Flowers magenta 3-3.5 cm wide.
