Coryphantha erecta (Pfeiff.) Lem.

Body cylindrical eventually with offsets from the base. Tubercles conical; axillary areoles yellow glanded. Spines yellowish orange, to 2 cm long. Flowers yellow.

The other cylindrical bodies species C. clavata (Schweid.) Backeb. has whitish flowers.
