Oscularia Schwantes

Origin of name unknown.

Small succulents with the branches erect or spreading with naked internodes. Leaves mostly about the same size, grey-blue, 3-angled, margins and basal ridge sometimes toothed. Flowers 1-3, mostly stalked; spring. Ovary inferior with mostly 5 chambers; ovule placentation parietal. Stigmas usually 5.

Grown mostly as O. deltoides (L.) Schwantes which has reddish stems, bluish waxy leaves to about 1 cm long with toothed ridges and pink flowers. [Lampranthus deltoides (L.) Wijnands]

Cuttings or seed.

Bluish waxy leaves with margins and basal ridge sometimes toothed.
