Aquilegia olympica Boiss.

Herb to 60 cm tall. Upper stems slightly glandular hairy. Flowers nodding, bicoloured. Sepals purple-blue. Petals with blades whitish. Spurs bluish, hooked; late spring. Fruit follicles 2-3 cm long with glandular hairs.

Russia, Turkey, Iran

Variants are sometimes referred to as the Olympica Group.
