Aquilegia alpina L.

Herb to about 70 cm tall. Leaves slightly waxy below, deeply 2-3 lobed; stem hairy above. Flowers 2-3, nodding, shades of 1 colour, spurs longer than the petals; late spring. Stamens not or hardly protruding. Fruit follicles hairy.
