Rhizome creeping, scaly. Fronds divided 1 or 2 times, oblong to narrowly triangular in outline, soft. Sori linear to oblong, basal ones sometimes in pairs. Indusia flat (not pouched or arched), with irregular margin.
Becoming weedy in New Zealand.
Will tolerate cool conditions
SE Asia and Pacific including Australia.
