Rhizome short-creeping, thick, branched. Fronds evergreen, in clusters, each to 15 cm or so long. Blade undivided, kidney-shaped, leathery, dark green. Sori and indusia arranged around the outer margin.
Canary Is, Madeira.
Fronds undivided, consisting of a single large, almost round blade. Needs shelter and warmth.
