Pteris semipinnata L.

Fronds to about 60 cm long with 5-8 pairs of branches; stalk purplish, to about 30 cm long. Blade ovate in outline, papery. Segments pointed at the tip and with small sharp marginal teeth.

Needs shelter and warmth.

Taiwan, Malaysia, China, Japan.

Frond papery; stalks purplish; lower branches with segments on lower side only.
