Fronds to 80 cm long, broadly triangular in outline, thin, branch divisions often distinctly stalked; stalk brown. Segments with small pointed teeth. Sori well away from the tips of the segments.

Can grow in cool areas.

Secondary divisions often distinctly stalked; veins fusing at least along midribs.
