Elkhorn Fern

Sterile nest fronds roundish, the upper margin entire or shallowly wavy. Fertile fronds to nearly 1 m long, forked several times in the upper third, segments 5 cm or so wide, dark green below. Sori over undersurface of the tips of terminal segments.

Needs shelter and warmth.

NE Qld.

Nest fronds not or hardly lobed; fertile fronds branching at the tips, dark green below; sori at the frond tips; cf. P. bifurcatum.
