Rhizomes long-creeping, thin, branched and hairy. Fronds divided 3-4 times, hairy; veins free. Sori continuous along the marginal veins of segments. Indusia consisting of a marginal flap and a true membranous inner indusial flap.

c. 12 species from the tropics.

Spores or division of rhizomes.

Fronds thick with alternate branches; sori along the segment margins and with an inner indusium.
