Christmas Fern

Fronds divided once. Blades to about 50 cm long and 10 cm wide. Segments sometimes saw-toothed, on fertile fronds much reduced at the tip. Indusia soon shed. Can grow in cool areas.

Cultivars with variously distorted branches may be encountered.

Recognition: Fronds divided once, tip of fertile fronds with unusual much-reduced segments.
