Brassia aurantiaca (Lindl.) M.W.Chase

Robust epiphytic or epilithic. Pseudobulbs to 10 cm long. Leaves 1 or 2, to 30 cm long, to 2.5 cm wide. Flowers 8-18, to 2.5 cm long, vivid orange or scarlet; winter to spring. Sepals and petals linear-lanceolate, not spreading. Labellum linear-lanceolate to oblanceolate, callus 2-ridged.
