Cycnoches warszewiczii

Robust epiphyte or terrestrial. Pseudobulbs cylindrical, to 30 cm long. Leaves 4?7, lanceolate, to 35 cm long, to 8 cm wide. Flowers several, males and females on different inflorescences; spring to summer. Male flowers to 14 cm long, fragrant, greenish with white labellum and black callus. Sepals and petals spreading. Labellum ovate, convex, entire, margins smooth, pointed at tip. Female flowers similar to males but slightly larger. Syn. C. ventricosum Bateman var. warscewiczii (Rchb. f.) P.H. Allen.
