Cattleya cernua (Lindl.) Van den Berg. Plant list

Small epiphyte or epilith. Pseudobulbs cylindrical or ovoid, to 2 cm long, erect, clustered. Leaves ovate to elliptic, to 2.5 cm long, to 2 cm wide, shiny dark greygreen. Flowers 2-5, to 3 cm wide, deep red; autumn to winter. Sepals elliptic to ovate. Petals ovate, not much wider than sepals. Labellum simple, ovate to triangular, base white or yellowish.
