Cattleya crispata (Thunb.) Van den Berg

Small to medium sized epilith. Pseudobulbs ovoid, to 10 cm long, narrowing towards tip. Leaves solitary, oblong to lanceolate, to 15 cm long, to 3 cm wide. Flowers 3-10, to 6 cm wide, usually canary yellow; spring. Sepals and petals lanceolate, curved, similar. Labellum 3-lobed, side lobes embracing column, midlobe oblong, margins wavy.

L. lundii Rchb. f. from Brazil is a small epiphyte with short, 2-leaved pseudobulbs and racemes of 1?3 mostly white flowers to 5 cm wide.

L. milleri Blume from Brazil is a small epilith with short, 1-leaved pseudobulbs and racemes of 2?6 mostly blood-red to orange-red flowers to 6 cm wide.

L. lucasiana Rolfe from Brazil is a small epiphyte with short, 1-leaved pseudobulbs and racemes of 2?5 mostly lilac to purple flowers to 4 cm wide.

L crispata (Thunb.) Garay from Brazil is a small epilith with short, 1-leaved pseudobulbs and racemes of 2-10 mostly pink flowers to 4.5 cm wide.
