Zygopetalum mackayii

Medium sized terrestrial. Pseudobulbs ovoid to conical, to 7 cm long, clustered. Leaves 2 or 3, strap-shaped to narrow-elliptic, to 50 cm long, to 6 cm wide, shiny green. Flowers usually 5-7, to 8 cm wide, strongly fragrant, green or yellowish with brown or reddish blotches, labellum white with purplish streaks; autumn to winter. Sepals lanceolate, often incurved, longer than petals. Petals lanceolate, often incurved. Labellum obscurely 3-lobed, midlobe broad-obovate to fan-shaped, tip notched, callus horseshoe-shaped.
