Flowers about 12–14 cm wide, semi-double, crimson with 3–4 rows of strongly veined petals that bend back to display the cylinder of stamens at least 5 cm long. A mostly sterile triploid cultivar raised by Neil Breslin, East Camberwell, Victoria, Australia, the original plant being removed to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne where it remains today.
