Accepted name: Geissorhiza erosa

Leaves 3-6 mm wide, hairy along the raised veins and edges. Stem to 35 cm tall, smooth, simple or 1-branched. Flowers 2-6, either purple to red or white to cream and flushed red on outside; early spring. Perianth tube 1-3 mm long; segments equal, incurved, 10-20 mm long, obovate. Stamens equal, spreading.
